SpokenLeaf

What's new

What changed in each SpokenLeaf release, newest first.

  1. v0.41.0

Create folders from inside a note, confirm your signup with a code, and a new What's new page.

    New

    • Create a new folder from a note's folder menu, and the note moves straight into it.
    • After you sign up, you can type the code from your confirmation email to finish, and the screen moves on by itself once you click the email's link, even on another device.
    • A new What's new page in Settings lists what changed in each update, and tapping the version number opens it too.

    Improved

    • Delete account & data is now a quieter text button, so it's harder to tap when you meant to sign out.
    • If something goes wrong, you now see a screen with Try again and Reload the app instead of a dead end.

    Fixed

    • On the free plan, you can now transcribe a recording from its note with your free minutes, instead of being asked to upgrade.
    • Signing out of the Android app no longer ends on an error screen.
  2. v0.40.0

A new Settings page, messages that stay where you can see them, and pull to refresh.

    New

    • Settings now has its own place in the menu, with your account and plan, appearance, and privacy and terms in one list.
    • On a touchscreen, pull down from the top of any screen to refresh it.

    Improved

    • Messages now appear next to the control they're about, or at the top of the page, and stay until you close them.
    • The top bar is quieter: the plan and "On this device" labels are gone, and Offline still shows whenever you lose your connection.
    • The transcription usage bar now fills up as you use minutes, so it reads like a meter.
    • Tap your name in the menu to go straight to Account & plan.

    Fixed

    • Deleting a recording now removes it from your recordings list and from its note right away.
